The Fieldbook® E1 offers the best display in its class with FieldView ™ Pro technology. Here are several techniques for improving the readability combined, which make the screen very readable even in direct sunlight. On the one hand, a strong backlight is used to counteract the incoming light. Furthermore, two anti-reflection filters are used, which scatter the light and do not direct the user back to the user. In addition, we use the so-called optical bonding, whereby the spaces between the different display layers are filled up and thus prevents the light rays are refracted and reflected at this point. This allows us to achieve a higher transparency rate, resulting in an improved contrast ratio. Another advantage of filling in the gaps is that the stability of the entire display is improved.

Gravity vs Fieldbook

By far the most damage to tablet computers is caused by falls during use. A false grip and gravity pulls the device to the ground, where its free fall is usually slowed down by a hard surface. Experience has shown that consumer devices can not survive drops from low heights without the display glass jumping and making the device unusable. To keep you on the safe side, we have designed the Fieldbook® E1 to withstand drops of up to 1.8 meters.

The Fieldbook® E1 is suitable for almost all applications. The FieldView ™ Pro Display and the drop height of 1.80 meters are just the beginning. The FBE1 is also IP65 certified, which certifies its resistance to the ingress of liquids and dust. Among other things, the MIL-STD810 certification guarantees resistance to impact, vibration, temperature shocks and salt fog. The temperature range of the Fieldbook® E1 is between -20 ° and + 60 ° Celsius.
